Candle Care Guide
Thank you for choosing mooloomooloo .
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please take note of the following guidelines:
1. Place on a Stable Surface
Always position the candle on a flat, stable surface, away from flammable objects such as paper, fabric, or curtains. Avoid placing it near windows to prevent drafts from extinguishing the flame or posing a fire hazard.
2. Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets
Ensure that candles are placed in areas inaccessible to children and pets. Open flames can be a potential hazard, especially if the candle is accidentally knocked over.
3. Limit Burning Time
Regularly check the candle while burning, and avoid extended burn times. It’s recommended not to burn the candle for more than four hours at a time to prevent overheating or large flames.
4. Do Not Burn to the Bottom
When only a small amount of wax remains, extinguish the flame and discard the candle. Allowing the candle to burn to the bottom can cause the container to overheat, leading to breakage or fire risks.
5. Ensure Flame is Fully Extinguished
Before leaving the room or going to sleep, ensure the flame is completely extinguished. Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame and check for any remaining embers.
6. Trim the Wick Regularly
A long wick can create a large flame and excess smoke. Trim the wick to about 0.2 inches (0.5 cm) before each use to maintain a steady flame and reduce smoke.
